We have another new view. Keira was admitted again last night. This time at University, right next door to Children’s. So close to our second home. We’ve wished a million times she could be treated there.

Keira had another rough week at home after discharge a little over a week ago. The last couple days especially, she was struggling to stay conscious anytime she was upright and had “the worst migraine ever.” That says a lot with her brain surgery history.

Last night was eternal and about as emotionally draining as it gets. We’re in a shared room. Sweet neighbor. Not ideal for either of them. K desperately wanted to leave. The team brought her in through the ER on “red” due to very low pressures and did anything they could to get us through the night as they felt it wasn’t safe for K to go home. We made it and are waiting on endocrine to round this morning.

Please pray for answers. For peace to ease all the anxieties and for a way to prevent more loss and grieving for Keira. She’s fought so hard to get here after the brain tumor, we just need to keep her on her feet…literally
