Yesterday and today were a lot of meh. Yesterday afternoon Keira suddenly had a very high heart rate and high blood pressure. She’s on continuous telemetry with central monitoring and at one point , her bedside was full of people for a sustained resting hr over 145. There was concern of a PE(pulmonary embolism,) but a CT ruled that out.

Yesterday evening brought terrible nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal pain. That persisted through today and tonight she’s waiting on vas team to replace her 3rd IV and she’ll head to an abdominal ct with contrast.

Keira’s migraines have become multi faceted and terribly persistent. Today neurology came in and did an occipital nerve block in her neck and shoulders. About 6 big injections of lidocaine. Hoping it’s a reset.

Keira is on her 3rd roommate this admission. Not fun being the one left behind. Especially when they’re all about 50 years or more older than you.

We seem to be still ruling more things out than in and don’t feel much closer to figuring all this out. Praying for a direction to get keira functional again.
