Another hospital photo, but from a different location. We did make it home yesterday with a little bargaining with Infectious Disease. Today, tomorrow and Friday Tate has her 8 hour IVIG infusions. ID wants another swab of her central line….North crew to the rescue. Tomorrow during infusions, we’ll have a telehealth with ID to determine if they’re adding IV antibiotics over the weekend. They are estimating about a 50/50 chance the infection will come back and Tate will need to be admitted again for more antibiotics and a new line.
The goal remains to save this line. We’re holding onto optimism that we can stay out of the hospital and the rest of the summer we can squeeze in some non medical fun.
