Tate had a couple days where we thought she was perking up but has felt worse each day since last weekend. We narrowly avoided taking her in last night, but if I was gambling, I’d say we’re headed to the hospital soon. Pain has been difficult and Tate looks and feels pretty sick.
Her scope didn’t show what we were praying for. We haven’t heard yet what next steps are to figure out the why behind the swelling in her esophagus and her difficulty with swallowing.
She had metabolic testing this last week to try to understand what her body is doing with the very small amount of intake she has. She looked like an adorable astronaut.
