Not what we wanted at all…

I did sign papers refusing an ambulance ride down to main campus so we can stop home and grab some things because who brings go bags to an antibiotic infusion!?

The shredded piece of tinsel? (Because sometimes there just isn’t a whole silver lining.) We will be in the new East wing again on 8 with all our familiar favorites. And, we get a direct admit and can avoid another long ER visit.

This antibiotic made Tate a little itchy and slightly hive-ish. But now I don’t have to worry about it as the next dose will be inpatient. Boo! Another shredded piece of tinsel I guess.

I think Tate is already on the schedule for a line study tomorrow. Blood clots off central lines are not normal. They’ve just become normal to us. They weren’t a problem last week when we were still inpatient and her lungs were full of them, but are serious now. (Yes, a bit of rare sarcasm) I believe the line is fine. This is an inflammatory, systemic problem. Which is likely a more complex problem to solve. Please let this be a quick admission.
