We are still home!

Tate has been sleeping a lot, but is in good spirits when awake. She had a movie night with her sweet friend Bradley, and currently is enjoying the company of her Grandma & Grandpa B and Aunt Jen (my sister.)
Today she got approval from her intestinal rehab Dr. to try any foods that she wants and to adjust accordingly. She still isn’t eating much, but is willing to try and is keeping food down that she does try. It’s slow, but we are seeing progress. We also have a working enteral pump so can restart j tube feeds once again.

We also saw Tates special care Dr. today, Dr. Fox. This man is brilliant, patient and so very compassionate and kind. He is such a blessing as he coordinates all Tates specialists, keeps them in the loop and helps us prioritize who to see next. Endocrine is top on the list. Despite transplant, Tatum continues to have antibodies that are markers for diabetes. We aren’t sure why or if this does mean she’s continuing to develop type 1 as she was pre transplant. We are also now noticing that her newly growing in hair is falling out. Understandably devastating for Tate. We are praying for a quick answer and easy solution.

Prayers needed: Baby Chloe and her family as they work through difficult decisions as she isn’t responding to treatment. For Kody that the MIBG did it’s job, Lilly who is still inpatient battling the same bacterial, fungal and GI issues seemingly cyclical. And Tates Grandpa who is in the hospital once again. Thank you for all these prayers and the continual prayers for Tate as well.
