Day 51
Today was kind of an odd one. Tate was awake early but didn’t last long. She couldn’t keep her eyes open and around noon, we realized why. Her BP was 82/52 and she was feeling it. Low BP’s for Tate often mean her body is stressed. Blood cultures were drawn and she fell asleep in front of the Dr’s.
Fluids and multiple naps did her well and Tate’s BP came up. She crafted a bit and ended the day with nausea again.
It’s hard to know what is causing what. We’re always wanting something that we can fix/treat that will make Tate feel better. An infection, although serious and never “wanted,” would do just that if cultures turn positive. An infection always feels better than a worsening chronic baseline.
