Tate said “Bye Clottia” today. An ultrasound showed her R DVT in her upper chest is resolved. They didn’t scan for the ones on her L arm, but we are assuming those are gone as well. At last check, Tate still had antibodies indicating a clotting disorder. She will see another new team at the hemophiliac/thrombosis clinic later this month.
Tate got her Colorado ID today in lieu of her drivers license. A necessary, but emotional step for her. It’s hard to see the other young people there taking drivers tests knowing that isn’t an option.
Tomorrow we meet the new palliative team through Denver hospice.
