Day 3

What should’ve been a quieter, more restful day ended up being just as busy in other ways. Tate had a rougher day with nausea and pain today. It’s so hard to watch her feeling worse as we wait for test results and a plan.

We saw many of our primary nurses today. A familiar, kind face makes even the basic things easier. We’re so grateful for our sweet nursing team. It’s fun to hear about the excitement and joys in their lives and the challenges too. It keeps life as normal as possiblein here. Tate turned down a dog visitat her door today. A first in a very very long time. A strong indication of just how lousy she feels.

Scans and bronchoscopy get started tomorrow around 12:30. Those are orange peels in the white bowl. The scent helps with nausea.
