Day 15
Today was Tate’s inpatient physical therapist, Brandee’s, last day. She’s been a big part of our inpatient life here at CHC and we’re going to miss her! (Check out her Tinsel by Tate hair!)
These days…SO packed with so many things. In addition to all the regular medical today, Tate tried hypnotherapy for pain and had art therapy too. The hypnotherapy was helpful and I know with practice will become more effective.
Tate finished day 3 of IVIG today. We ran these 3 infusions at 10 hours each. That did seem to help. Unfortunately, that isn’t replicable outpatient.
Today we were going to move her cheek pain film from twice a day to 4 times a day and start the new infusion. I’m guessing that will all start tomorrow. Pain team did increase her IT pump boluses by another 10%.
Today we heard 7-14 days for the new rheum infusion. We’re obviously hoping everything comes together on the shorter end of that timeframe.
