Day 33
Tate is still on a continuous ketamine infusion. It will run for sure until Tuesday night. The methadone takes 3-5 days with every increase to come up to its full therapeutic value. Tate is still needing additional dilaudid, but less. Today we took away the IV version and she’s doing okay. We’ll see where things are after shutting off the ketamine. We are feeling a little glimpse of hopefulness that maybe in another week, we could be home in a much better place than when we came in as far as pain management.
Tate gets an hour off ketamine and had a Seacrest filming date with Eric for her “Tate’s Treats” show. Today was “Poppin with my Tarts.” I don’t have any finished videos to show you yet, but I have a little clip in the comments. This has been a really fun distraction for Tate.
