Day 31

Pain wise, today didn’t go quite as planned. The short version is, Tate is back on a continuous ketamine infusion this evening. Methadone was increased again today, but it takes a few days to get to a therapeutic level. We are still holding onto hope that the methadone is going to work.

Drew and Keira came by today and the kids spent 45 minutes in the zone. It’s always nice to squeeze them. Keira enjoys arranging flowers and created a beautiful bouquet for Tate. We are so grateful for the familiar nurse faces that pop in to say hello even when their days are so busy. Today was hard both physically and emotionally for Tate. Those faces make all the difference.

Things will likely be sort of put on hold until the teams are back together on Monday. I heard today there is a potential care conference coming, but we’ll see where things land.
