We were a lot delayed getting upstairs today until Tate’s BP leveled out. We landed on 6th floor which we haven’t been on since Tate had her pump implanted. Everyone is of course amazing, but we’re missing all the familiar faces from 8th. They are trying to get us on 8 yet, but there’s a list of kids also waiting. We aren’t first in line.

All we’ve learned for certain so far is that Tate was very dehydrated when she came in. Tate gets 2 liters a day through her central line. It just wasn’t enough.

She’s on 2 IV antibiotics each every 8 hours. She’s on iv fluids and has had consults with her general team, rheumatology, pain and infectious disease.

She has eaten more tonight and after sleeping all day, is awake. All improvements from last night. Could be the fluids, the antibiotics, time or….? No matter what, we’ll take it.
