6 months without an admission! (We dont count that little 24 hour blip last month.)But we’re back.
Monday was a rough day again and Tate declined very rapidly overnight. After not being able to get a BP read, Tate having hours of uncontrolled vomiting/diarrhea, meds and steroids not cutting it, passing out and an emergency injection, she’s back at Children’s to hug all the familiar inpatient faces once we get settled upstairs. Her labs are concerning for infection and lupus is active again. Were thinking maybe cultures missed it the first go last week. Her BP was very very low when we arrived but thankfully fluids and those steroids kept her out of the ICU. So happy to have Tim by our sides last night. It definitely wasn’t a one person situation and was a completely sleepless night. Grateful for a caring team here and we got Dr. Keith in the ER! He’s one of our favorite Round Up River Ranch Docs and we always seem to miss him when here. A familiar face changes so much!
