Friday we made it back to Children’s for Tate’s intrathecal pain pump refill. The use of ultrasound makes accessing the pump much easier and less painful. She really just made it with very little medication left in her pump. But the pain teams math skills are spot on getting through the extra few days.
Tate’s recovery from whatever she’s been fighting has been slow, but we saw a glimmer of Tate sparkle today when she rallied a bit to spend the morning with our friends the Stevensons. We had plans to spend sev days in the mountains with them this past week that were scrapped for a pretty miserable week for Tate. But the Lizzie and Levi energy today brought some smiles. And Happy Birthday to dear Katey today!
